Volunteer Opportunites

Volunteer and Social Action Committees are compiling an email list of CRJ congregants who might be willing to volunteer for CRJ or our partners in the community from time to time when the need arises. Volunteering through CRJ is a great way to get to know more fellow congregants and to make a difference at CRJ and in the community. At CRJ, this may include assisting with set up and other needs for Shabbat dinners, onegs and events, temple cleanup, mailings, help with cooking for the homeless, preparation for Meals on Wheels on Christmas Day, telephoning members, etc. In the community, it may include donating items needed by organizations helping people in need; volunteering at a community organization's event; and other activities to benefit nonprofit community groups and the people they serve. Please email Cathy Lieblich at clieblich@me.com if you would like to be on this list. It will not commit you to any specific volunteer request.

Here are some volunteer opportunities:

Most of the volunteers help only when their schedules permit and at a one-at-a-time assignment.
